Our Team

Lois Kramer, MS, OTR/L

Lois has always loved working with children because their creativity, honesty and energy make everyday new and rewarding. The stories of the children and families she works with always inspire and humble her and she enjoys discovering how important it is to appreciate the small and big successes.

Lois’ background includes mental health {preschool for emotionally and physically abused children} and pediatric outpatient occupational therapy in a hospital setting. She is certified in administering and interpreting the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT), Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and the Integrated Learning System (ILS).

Lois enjoys working holistically and collaboratively with other professionals, including speech and language pathologists, educational consultants, counselors and behavioral therapists.

Denise Nordi, OTR/L

Denise is a Northwest native and has been a pediatric occupational therapist for over 25 years. As a part-time therapist, her experience and love for treating children continues to grow. Denise’s education and training includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound. She is certified in ‘Neurodevelopmental Treatment of Children’ Bobath course work, ‘Myofascial Release’ Boehme Workshops and numerous courses in sensory processing disorders and children with feeding problems.

Her background includes pediatric rehabilitation and outpatient pediatrics in a hospital setting. Prior to joining Harbor Children’s Therapy team, Denise was the owner of a private practice in Gig Harbor.

Lauren Brewer, COTA/L

Lauren is a licensed and certified occupational therapy assistant born and raised in Washington State. She has experience working with children with various needs such as Autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder and more. Lauren graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, Washington, and her background includes working in outpatient pediatric settings. She is delighted to continue to work with a variety of children within the realm of sensory processing. 

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking, exercising, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Tennille Gammelgaard, COTA/L

Tennille joined us as an intern while in the COTA program at Greenriver community college.  We were delighted that she joined our therapy team.  She taps into her experience as a nanny, preschool teacher and mom to two wonderfully neurodivergent children.   

Raising her family in Federal Way keeps Tennille busy outside of the clinic.  She loves acting, attending theatre, drawing and painting and being out in nature. 

Hannah Ellestad, MS, OTR/L

Hannah is a registered and licensed occupational therapist with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Salus University, Pennsylvania.  She has worked with children who are diagnosed with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and developmental delays.  Hannah enjoys the complexity of sensory processing as it relates to and supports a child’s overall development.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

Jenney Bitner, MS, OTR/L

Jenney is a registered and licensed occupational therapist with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University, in San Jose, California.  She has worked in pediatrics since 2010 in inpatient, hospital based outpatient, and early intervention. She has worked with children who are diagnosed with a variety of diagnoses including developmental delays, down syndrome, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Jenney enjoys the connections she is able to make with children and all that she learns from them.

Outside of work, Jenney enjoys keeping track of her 4 kids, volunteering at their schools, baking, cooking and exploring this beautiful area.

Lori Lynch, Billing Specialist

Lori is the Medical Billing Administrator at Harbor Children’s Therapy. She has been working with insurance companies and billing medical claims since the opening of Harbor Children’s Therapy in 2001. 

She has worked with many different insurance companies and has gained an expertise in working with families to maximize benefits for our clients. 

Lori has 2 children and lives in Gig Harbor. She enjoys gardening, hiking, trail running, aerial, other outdoor activities and spending time with her family and friends.
